Rumor: Project Palm, Will it be the new business card to beat?

Microsoft Paint level mock up of possible new Chase business credit card

Breaking last October on the Doctor of Credit site are Chase's plans to revamp their business credit card offerings codenamed Project Palm. The rumors surrounding a revamp to the premium business card space from Chase are not new as their current Ink line of business cards is becoming outdated and are not competing with the latest from other banks such as Capital One's Venture X Business card. With a possible release date of March 2025, the rumor goes on to say there could be a 150,000 point sign-up bonus with $15,000 in required spend and will compete directly head-to-head with the American Express Business Platinum.

It has long been an interesting point that the Chase Sapphire personal cards do not have business equivalents unlike American Express, Capital One, and other card programs. It looks like Project Palm is going to rectify that with this new card becoming the business version of the Chase Sapphire Reserve. With it being a Sapphire Reserve level card, it should also come with some benefits including a speculated $400 worth of travel credit annually, an annual fee near $700, and of course an updated paint scheme from the Ink series of cards.

This is of course all speculation at this point, but as we do move closer and closer to a launch will be sure to keep you updated.
