Points Path: See Points on Google Flights
Points Path, Award search for Google Flights
When you are comparing flights do you find yourself logging into all your airline accounts and comparing how many points a flight costs? Once we found Points Path that has largely become a thing of the past.
Points Path introduces an innovative solution for travelers seeking to optimize their flight booking decisions by seamlessly integrating award pricing into Google Flights searches. This browser extension automatically displays point redemption rates alongside cash prices, providing immediate insight into which payment method offers superior value for both one-way and round-trip itineraries.
The tool's primary advantage lies in its simplicity and integration with Google Flights' familiar interface. When conducting a flight search, Points Path automatically populates award prices and provides clear indicators of whether points or cash represents the better value proposition. This functionality eliminates the need to cross-reference multiple websites or manually calculate redemption values.

Available in both free and premium versions, Points Path caters to different user needs. The free version supports major U.S. carriers including American Airlines, Alaska Airlines, Delta, JetBlue, and United. The Pro version, priced at $79.99 annually or $7.99 monthly, expands coverage to include international programs such as Air Canada, Virgin Atlantic, Emirates, and Qantas. Pro subscribers also gain access to enhanced features like price tracking alerts, a 7-day points calendar, and customizable points valuations.
Points Path's founder, Julian Kheel, positions the tool primarily for travelers who want straightforward guidance on point redemption without becoming loyalty program experts. While experienced points and miles enthusiasts might appreciate the convenience, the extension particularly benefits those seeking efficient decision-making support for their travel rewards.
The platform currently operates on Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge browsers.
We hope future updates will take this great idea one step further and include transferable points in the tool. Today the points are limited to those at an airline, but what could make this tool incredible is if they were able to say that a flight on United is worth X number of CapitalOne Miles if you transfer them to Air Canada (a Star Alliance member) and purchase the United Flight via Air Canada. We know that is many more steps and integrations. No matter how they proceed forward we are very excited to have Points Path in our toolkit.
